2006 C6 with 2.7l HDI
VIN= VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Purchased this car 6 weeks ago. I am planning to replace the AC condenser, front EGR, radiator, and a single front parking sensor.
The parts arrived and the radiator and condenser say "Puege. 407" on the box. Condenser has a sticker on it that says 2.2 liter on it.
I am hoping these interchange to the C6. Can anyone verify before I take it all apart?
I also have an occasional belt squealing on start up. I think I need to replace the belt and at least the alternator clutch pulley. Should I just replace all the pulleys (crank, tensioner, idler) while I am in there? Does anyone have part number for the correct tensioner (appears to have a spring on the bracket).
Thanks for whatever info you may provide!

Hi Ludwig
These obviously are not Citroen parts, but I will have a look for you shortly at what the part numbers should be and whether those 2.2 parts are interchangeable.....

Re: C6 part number verification
Ok, so the Condenser part number for your C6 is 6455EY and this was also shared with the 407 DT17TED4 2.7 and DW12BTED4 2.2 engine up to build date 11437. Your build date on the C6 is 10963, so should be fine.
Your radiator part for the C6 2.7 should be 1330P7. The radiator for the Peugeot 407 2.7 engine matches this part, but not for the DW12BTED4 2.2 engine. Looking at the picture on the box, it does show 2.7, so you should be fine on both counts.
As for the alternator belt:
The original alternator pulley part number (5751E3) was replaced with part: 1611422780, item (3) on the diagram.
The original was priced £17.65 sterling and the new part is priced £62.64 - so a big difference.

Re: C6 part number verification
I take it you have the dual mass crankshaft pulley? That can also squeal on start up. Paint a line between the outside to inside centre then start the car a few times, if the lines is no longer straight, that's the culprit. Just something else to check.

Re: C6 part number verification
Thank you very much for the quick response! I might get the SKF belt and clutch pulley
VKM 03303 and VKMV 6PK1887
I am having trouble finding the tensioner pulley. Is it the entire assembly or just replace the pulley?
This one appears to be correct:

Is there a good diagram available?
Thanks again,
Chris

Hi Chris,
yep, that one is correct and yes, it comes as a complete assembly.
I would also recommend using a new bolt (No 7) as I had one snap shortly after reusing.
