the ds sensorial drive

Post by Waynerc69 »

I've picked up my ds7 prestige today and love it but have just realised after having the car factory reset by the dealer the the ds sensorial button is no longer illuminated and I can't use the seat massage system. Any help please.
Thanks guys.

I'd first have to ask why it needed 'resetting' and what they actually did. A BSI reset should not interfere with any of the options or configuration if followed correctly:

BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure

If, however, they have done something else to the BSI configuration, they may have knocked a feature out or changed a parameter that could affect the system. If you've checked the manual and can't get it operational - take it back and get them to sort it - and then have a quick run-though of all the systems on the forecourt before you leave to make sure everything is working properly. This wonm't be the first time I've seen people having to go back multiple times when they've found something else has packed in! :-D

I'm assuming you've pressed the furthermost switch to the left under the touchscreen (the button with a man radiating dots) to activate it...

Hi Marc I have pressed the button even though the button isn't actually illuminated the function definitely did work on our test drive though.

Ok, so it looks like they have done something that has upset it if the button is not illuminating and all the pre-requisite conditions are ok. So I would get it back to them and call them in advance to tell them so they have adequate time to do some homework before you get there!
