DS5 - SMEG - Can I enable Android Auto on this car?

Hey all,

Just enquiring if it's possible to enable Android Auto on my car's infotainment system. It's already got CarPlay, and I'm pretty sure I've seen some threads from other members who have said it's possible to enable AA as well.

Just to let you know that spoilers are visible to all who click on the "Spoiler" icon. However, VINs are automatically obscured (provided they are correctly entered), so do not need to be 'hidden' in a spoiler.

To my knowledge, no, not Android Auto.

That was only available on DS5 models from 2017.

To my knowledge, no, not Android Auto.

That was only available on DS5 models from 2017.

Do you happen to know if it's using a NAC system? Pretty sure that was the only qualifier mentioned for the ability to enable Android Auto (I found a thread about how to enable it via an Arduino, but am on a different computer right now!)

No you have a SMEG variant, either a SMEG, SMEG + or SMEG iV2 variant (which was the last of the SMEG range). The NAC connected systems did not come out until a few years later IIRC.

I believe there may be a Carlos Fandango way of getting it - but it will involve a bit of hashing as you have eluded to.

Edit: The last run of these seemed to have the Connected NAV (which was the Wave 1 early unit) and these did not support Android Auto unfortunately.
