Ok, when talking to a mate last night about how I would like cruise control in my Activa he mentioned something I had never thought about before.
I recently bought a project Peugeot 605 Svti that also has the TCT engine. Interestingly it also has cruise control on a stalk below the indicator stalk (and a stereo control stalk on the opposite side)
Does anyone know if I could make the cruise control on the 605 work on the Activa?
Its a 1998 Activa and a 1996 Peugeot 605 if thats any help.

Re: Activa tct cruise control
The 605/XM use the same Hella cruise control as the Xantia, so it will fit, but the wiring harnesses in your Activa probably don't have the wires and connectors (but they may be there).
I can't immediately remember where the cruise vacuum pump is located on a 605, but on the Xantia it goes behind the bumper in front of the left hand wheel. The ECU is an aluminium box inside the ECU box. on the 605. You will need to fit a clutch pedal switch if not already present on your Activa. The throttle actuator should swap directly across.

Great thanks for that!
I’m taking that as encouragement to crack on and get it working… I’ll update as I go.
