I'm in no way an expert in air conditioning systems (or cars in general), so please bear with me

The A/C in my Xantia (2000 MK2 HDi 90) has not been working for a while. I discovered lately that the high pressure pipe that goes from the compressor to the condenser has a hole the size of a small pea. I was looking online for replacement parts and it seems there's no new parts available, only used and quite expensive ones for the condition they seem to be in (rust, no warranty, etc.).
The original part number is 9632230180 (from an old sticker in the pipe itself). My question is, is it possible to fit a different part number from other model years or DW10TD engines that's compatible with this A/C system and ports? Or something like "generic" pipes?
Also, once replaced, since the pipe has such a big hole on it, should I be worried that dirt has gone into the circuit? Any replacements, checks or preventive measures I should make before taking it to the A/C specialist to pump the gas?
Thanks in advance for your kind help.
