206 CC 1.6Hdi

Unread post by Huskyxantia »

saved from the crusher 2006 1.6hdi 206cc

Failed mot due to esp abs lights on dash, I paid £80 to have the car brought to me as a project I've rebuilt the whole breaking system and ads front and rear I've also had the solid flywheel full kit conversion too.

My problem I've got now is water coming from the last joint on the exhaust before the back box accompanied by the turbo making noise like steam trian which stops as soon as the water leak stops car don't over heat and no mayo under oil cap gas test results went from blue dye to almost yellow meaning head gasket.

I wonder if a water of vacuum pipe could be on wrong due to the strip down when doing gearbox as car never did this before .
I've tested the egr cooler that's fine even looped the pipes together to by pass it made no difference

Any one have diagrams of the coolant hose locations and vacuum system locations
Thank you [-o<

Rechecked all connections cleaned rear abs mounting points cleaned rust was a bit but not major, put lights out with launch diagnostic gadget thing, then today........
The rear abs sensor on driver rear looked like it was passing the sensor ring where as the passenger rear was level in line with the magnetic ring so that was sorted no test yet but were see.
