Hi everyone,
I have a 2002 Citroen C3 diesel (1.4 hatchback 16V HDi FWD I FC_,FN_1398cc 66KW 90HP 8HY - DV4TED4). A lot of oil brands recommend 5w-30 grade so I bought Castrol Edge 5w-30 LL. However, I recenlty realised that 5w-40 is recommended if using Castrol Edge.
Will it be ok to use the 5w-30 LL grade Castrol Edge? The engine is good and burns little oil so would the 5w-30 be a safe option to use? If someone could confirm that this will not do any damage that would be great.
Thanks
Can I use Castrol Edge 5w-30 LL instead of 5w-40 oil?
