Hi. I have a 2012 Scenic 1.6 Petrol. I had the cambelt changed recently including the dephaser pully. Before I had this changed and also since, I get the code P0011 and a message check anti pollution system.
When the cambelt was done so was oil and filter change, although I didn’t buy ‘renault’ spec oil, just Shell Helix.
I have read that code P0011 can be thrown up by sludgy oil. As it has had fresh oil, can anyone suggest what I can try next?
The car has only done around 60k miles
Thanks
Scenic 1.6 petrol code P0011

Re: Scenic 1.6 petrol code P0011
Hi. P0011 is associated with camshaft timing I believe. Did you set the new cambelt to the correct timing marks?

Re: Scenic 1.6 petrol code P0011
I didn’t do the camshaft. However, the same code came up several times prior to the new cambelt being fitted. I have a cheap OBD scanner to read and delete faults

If the engine was running with this code before then it is up to others better placed than me to chip in with their thoughts. cheers
