Hi all, hope you are all keeping safe.
Q1, would a large/medium/small/very small Leak of LHM.....be Visable to the naked eye, on very clean run of lhm pipe?
Q2, what is the minable amount of LHM needed in the black reservoir in order that vechile would be able to drive?? [empty is not needed]
Q3, does a member know of a clever way to find a 'leaking pipe?
Any/all help is much appreciated
cheers Steve

Re: Help if you can??
- Park the car over a clean area (or a sheet of cardboard), to see where it drips from
- Then clean up the leaky/wet area, and dry off, so you can pinpoint the leak
If a slow leak, more than likely a low-pressure return pipe (which have numerous rubber joiners), which are easily sorted. But need to pinpoint first. High pressure leaks tend to spray LHM over a sizeable area.
Try not to risk letting the reservoir fluid drop very low, so air gets sucked into the system. If in doubt, just throw an extra litre of LHM into the tank. Overfilling (by a litre or so) is not a problem, as there is a good bit of headroom in there. Check with the level indicator.
Let us know how you get on, and maybe post a photo or two.

Re: Help if you can??
Thanks for the suggestions on how to find the leak . It looks like the other replies did not appear on my post .
I found the leak weeks ago , I know exactly where it is just too hard to fix without help from the forum .
Regards,
Hayden

This is getting confusing... I think that you have posted in the wrong topic, as I don't think that you have asked any questions about Xantias.hayden641946 wrote: 01 Jun 2021, 07:38 Thanks for the suggestions on how to find the leak . It looks like the other replies did not appear on my post .

Re: Help if you can??
Hi lads, sorry for the delay.....Big Thank you and grateful for your help Steve & Chris.
Its looking like I will do a combination of both methoods.
I have cleaned all Corrosion reaching beyond a possible leak, its all looking to the naked eye very good, i.e nothing noticable.
This post/item is part of the post, headlined as 'grrrr lhm leak' take a peak of it if you find time....as to repeat the details would a duplication, however something is
bothering me.
So question is.....'by reversing on full lock up the six in curb', could this be causeing truma to the PAS??...as stated on the first post both n/s wheels are on the pavement.....the leaking is directly under the near side wheel......I just get the feeling parking this way may be part of the problem
I you ever feel fed up with answering the same questions....please be assured I for one are very grateful and does not go unoticed.
Stay safe be careful out there
