i have the following car 2014 CITROEN DIESEL MPV (MULTI-PURPOSE VEHICLE) (C4 PICASSO GRAND E-HDI AIRDREAM EXCLUSIVE ETG6).

the 12v sockets in back and boot look like they have blown although the front is fine

can anyone point my in the right direction to the fuses

The fuses for these are in the lower left passenger side fusebox:

F16 15A Front 12V socket.
F15 15A Boot 12V socket.

Look again.....

You will have one of two types of fuse boxes - depending on the electrical architecture of your vehicle. To work out what type of fusebox you have, in the engine bay, see the first picture below to determine whether you have a supplementary fuse box or not in front of the battery: If a Type (1) system, you will have the a Type (1) Fusebox in the passenger compartment, otherwise you will have the Type (2) Fusebox in the passenger compartment in the last picture.

full of wires in there
and or is this the fuse box
stuck right at the back of everything else ?

Just be careful with the connectors and wiring in there - that is where the BSI is (the main computer to which all the other ECUs come back to). Normally the fuses are laid out around the BSI according to the diagrams of the fuse boxes I put up previously. You will need a torch to locate them and do look at the top, bottom and to the sides of the main board as the fuses are usually positioned around there.
