Hi,
The viewing angle on my Xsara's manual RHD drivers door mirror doesn't allow enough visibility even with the joystick firmly to the right. The glass appears to be angled as far as it can go but only provides visibility to the rear quarter when seated with the correct posture. to view beyond the rear quarter my head has to be closer to the passenger side. It would be a perfect viewing angle if the car was LHD?

Re: Door mirror viewing angle/adjustment question.
Are you sure the mirror glass has been attached correctly? If these have been removed at any time or replaced, they may not be seated correctly on the supports, leaving the glass raised on one edge which may lead to the issue you are experiencing.

Re: Door mirror viewing angle/adjustment question.
Its an option I hadn't considered thanks. I did some preliminary checks, the glass is not loose and appears seated but I will verify in daylight. Is there a specific method of extracting and reinserting the glass on a Xsara?

Matt

Re: Door mirror viewing angle/adjustment question.
Here you go Matt: It's also possible that a non OEM mirror may have been previously fitted.
Removing Unclip the clip (1).
Disconnect the connectors (2) (according to equipment).
Remove the glass from the mirror.
Refitting Ensure that the spring clip (1) is correctly located in its mounting.
Clip the unit onto its support.
