Berlingo van 17 plate

Post by Hazard12 »

Hi
I have a Citroen berlingo van 17 plate with a random electrical issue
Sometimes when I come to start the van , I turn the key as normal & the van loses all electrics (totally dead)
But it comes back to normal if I get out the van lock it with the key & unlock manually then starts normally until it happens again could be days, weeks or months before it happens again
Anyone else had this problem ??

Thanks

Has the van had ant work done recently?
Sounds like a loose main connection somewhere.
Id start by checking both the battery terminals are secure along with the main bolted positive connection on the under bonnet fusebox. If they are ok id go to the main earths next.

They might look good but have you gave them a wiggle to see if they move?
