DS

Unread post by rickc »

Being as my last two posts have received so much attention and helped me out with some knotty problems, wonder if anyone can help me with this? I'm interesting in buying a DS, one of the late 50's early 60's models preferably, poss as a project or poss fully restored. Is there anywhere in UK that might sell them or import them?
Cheers,

Retromobile in Battersea sell them to graphic designers with thick wallets (www.retromobile.com). Perhaps I'm being a bit unfair to them. Some of the more traditional specialists like Andrew Brodie may be able to help. Check out http://www.aagarage.com/ if you fancy a trip to the south of France for (hopefully) less rusty LHD examples, or search this forum for the recent link to a Danish site for some restored and everyday DS at rather attractive prices.
The Citroen Car Club may be able to help - as there's bound to be a DS section. However, it's up to you whether to pay £30-odd to join.

A friend bought one from a british chap living in brittany that he found on the web,The man has a fleet of them rescued from breakers and will assemble a car for you. My pal paid far less than is fashionable, I think the bloke has a website but have never searched for it.
