Hi I am trying to order a recon turbo for my car that it is getting fitted by my local garage.
I know nothing about turbos and do not currently have access to my car.

Need to know if it’s water or oil cooled. Can anyone tell me what I’m looking for ?
Or is there a database that can be searched to show what it is.
Peugeot 508 sw. 2012 2.0 diesel.

They are oil cooled

I have to say that I didn't even know that water cooling of turbos was a thing. Perhaps for high performance exotica? Cooling of intake air using a water spray (charge cooling) was certainly used on competition engines some 20 years ago when I was interested in such things.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
