Cheers

Here you go Pete:
407 Startert.PNG
1) OEM brand new is a Class 6 Valeo (Demarr) D 8 R 28 that was originally fitted, part: 5802AW, £566.78
2) A cheaper alternative is part: 1638126880, £162.86
3) Or an exchange original one as per first option: 5802CA, £272.83

Note that items 1 & 2 carry a refundable surcharge of £78.12

Update, I was certain that the solenoid was to blame so started a hunt, found some but not for my starter on Autodoc, did a image search using the various part numbers that Marc supplied and eventually came up with this
https://www.piecesauto.fr/hc-cargo-8956818.html
Dimensions given were too limited to take a punt on it. Went into a local motor factors that supply the trade.
He had one in stock

28 euros later all is good

The make is HC Cargo and the catalogue at the shop was massive. If you're starter packs up have a search for them.
