306 boot wont open

hi all
im new on here
my boot wont open, the key will go in but wont turn
is there any other way of getting it to open??

drop the back seats down climb in the boot look at the locking mechanism , you might be able to carefully screwdriver it open
or undo the bolts holding the lock on either the hatchback/bootlid
or frame once open you can examine the lock for the fault

As sid above, get in the boot, remove the black cover, theres a bar on the locking sytem, if you tug that toward the offside it should pop the boot open. You can then remove the complete lock assembly and try to discover whats wrong from there.
