Options code?

Afternoon all

Just wondering where the best place to get a run down of the options list codes from a VIN number?

Popped into my head whilst listening to Smith and Sniff podcast.

'Options code' doesn't really mean anything.

What is it you want? - What your car was fitted with at factory? That's the only thing your VIN will show that is relevant (I think) to what you are enquiring about. If it's what accessories are available, then you can pick up a brochure from the dealer to show what's available. If none of these, then a further explanation is needed really.

Yeah exactly, what my car was fitted with from the factory? Is that the info only a dealer can supply or is there a website that can de-code the VIN?
