Citroen Jumper dew on the ceiling?

Post by Stormstout »

Hi!
I have a Citroen Jumper from 2006. Everything was fine up until like a week ago. At first, I thought it was just my imagination but no. When I open my car in the early hours of the morning, the crate ceiling seems to be wet, like it had dew on it. There is a big temperature difference between day and night but how can it reflect the inside of a car? Has anyone had anything like that happening? What can I do?

Leaving the air vents open in the dash can cause condensation - try closing them at the end of the day.

It will be residual moisture in the air inside, condensing on the cold roof overnight.
If you have A/C in the vehicle, switch it on on the drive home (even at a warm setting, if it's cold), as it will de-humidify the air. Setting to re-circulate will dry it off even quicker.
A/C (warm) is also a very effective means of de-misting the inside of a windscreen - assuming it will allow you to use it and de-mist at the same time!
