Lockdown is also going to have an impact on people with the travel restrictions of course.

Hi Philip,
Sorry you have not had a response yet but it may help if you post up on here how far you would be prepared to travel to get some help. I for one would be glad to help but I am a fair way away from you down in Hertfordshire and I am sure there are closer opportunities. Good luck

Hi,
Thanks for the replies , I do understand the lockdown situation and will take longer for everything.
and to mickthemaverick thanks for the offer but the performance of the car is so bad I would not want to got as far as your place. the car is going in to my friendly garage next week and he going to have a look at it for me.
Kind regards,
Phil.

Re: lexia?
Good evening all,
I am very pleased to say I have fixed my car!!!!
the BSI had been drenched in coke / sticky drink , connector EH2 had broken pins and was green and furry! also all the connectors were covered in sticky brown residue and the case of the unit has splash marks all over it.
bought a BSI of ebay
I am a very happy man now!!!
Kind regards,
Phil.

Hi Phil
Thanks for the update - I suspect that a can has been left balanced on the driver's side dash and fallen over at some point as that's where the BSI is on these!
I have a stress as it is with anyone eating anything with crumbs in the car, and drinks are banned!

Re: lexia?
Hi,
Another update on my cheeky French lady , she is running like a dream!
But a couple of things i need help with if you don't mind, I need my cruise control turning on again and is the audio stalk an option you need to have re-activated ?
also can the car have more than one blip key installed? I may have asked this before.
On July 2nd this year which is my birthday, I am making a long weekend of it and going down to see my mum and dad and brother and family in Faversham in Kent so on the Sunday on my way home would it be possible to swing by your place mickthemaverick and have her hooked up to your Lexia?
Thanks in advance ,
Phil.

Re: lexia?
That is very unfortunate timing Philip. I am afraid I wont be here on 4th July. My own birthday is 30th June and my partners the 5th July. It is our normal practice to go away ourselves between the two birthdays so I will be travelling home from the west country on Sunday evening. If you could extend your visit an extra night you could call in on the Monday by all means. Sorry about that!

Re: lexia?
Hi Philip,
While I have the lexia I have no experience of key coding. I have used it for turning the tyre sensors off and general diagnostics so it might be useful if you can find a procedure to carry out once we have it hooked up. I daresay Marc may be able to help on that score!

Re: lexia?
I do know that you will need all of the keys (those that are already coded and those that are to be coded), and the four digit security code for the car (if you do not have this you can get it from Citroen for a fee, with proof of ownership of the vehicle and proof of address.
