Hello all,
I have a Citroen C5 II petrol 2 litre 140 CH from 2004 and it has developed a leak in the hydraulic return hose which I need to replace and my garage in France tells me that they cannot get the part. Any ideas where I might be able to get a replacement?

Is the leak coming from a joint or split in the rubber pipe?
These are low pressure pipes can be replaced with silicone piping of the right internal diameter.
Make sure the pipes are fitted correctly at the joints.

Re: Citroen C5 II 2004 Hydraulic return hose leak
Thank you for the reply Kenny and sorry for the delay but I have been ill. The garage took the part off for me and I cannot see any splits in the rubber so it must be the metal parts. The actual part number is Power Steering Cable New Citroen C5 2.0 HDi 4012A6 9649436780 I have tried Citroen in France with no joy and there are not a lot of breakers yards in our region so I was hoping someone might be able to find one in UK. It is the only thing wrong with the car and it seems a shame to scrap it just for that.
