C5 Mk1 suspension leak fixed

My 2004 Mk1 sprung a leak at the rear over the fuel tank and I began to hear that the pipes are difficult to source and fit etc.
I was intending to go to Pleiades as they are very helpful on the phone but the journey would be a) illegal and b) risky due to the possibility of the leak getting worse, as it's a fair trip from my home.
However nearer home M and M engineering in Holmbridge Yorks sorted the problem by inserting a new length of pipe without having to replace the whole thing.
Brilliant job and reasonable bill too- not altogether common these days.
On a different note there is a 3l v6 on Autotrader which is near to me- any thoughts on the power plant??
