Not the sort of wheel this thread normally covers but Dave's first video of the year fits here as well as on the energy thread so I thought I'd put it here for a change!! :-D

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Trying to work out how fast a car with that on a drive wheel is able to accelerate is like that thought experiment of a jumbo jet on a speed matching treadmill!

https://blog.xkcd.com/2008/09/09/the-go ... treadmill/ = quite an enjoyable description of the conundrum and deconstruction of the typical resulting arguments! :rofl2:

(Although I expect the answer here with the wheeler wheel might be something approaching zero up to the point castor based shrapnel is generated and the castor carriers dig in and the car quickly departs!)

Look a bit modern to me. Not keen on the (fashionable) ultra low profile tyres in it either.

Set of wire wheels with 60 or greater tyre profile , more like this:

I think the plus 6 is the new BMW engines version?

If that five stud hub is also therefore BMW origin, I think I'd go for something more like the Alpina Turbine style, bit more delicate (akin to the wire spokes) and a good deal more "dish"

Yes it is Matt, you probably popped that up before I did. I was faffing about on the "Open Top Motoring" thread here...video of a little factory visit and drive of the Plus Six, and a push in a slightly different direction with the change in ownership of the company.

I am not enough of a Fiesta expert to judge whether the rather beautiful Ford Fiesta Mark1 has been enhanced with a bit of RS badging or if indeed is mostly original. The 1.3 Supersport was the forerunner of the subsequent first XR2's and had the additions like round headlights and black trim. It only has a 1117 cc engine according to DVLA and is described as June 1983 Ford Fiesta GL on Autotrader vehicle check, but a decent job done by its owner, a very striking car all told.
