Hi,
I have a 2015 Citroen DS5 where the NS headlight was damaged and I've had to buy a new one. My friendly local garage tells me that because it's the adaptive headlight it needs coding to the ECU. He can't do it and it seems that nobody can bar the main dealer. I found someone selling the Lexia software on ebay and he doesn't think that can do it either. I'm half thinking about removing the control module from the old light and fitting it to the new one, but there's the obvious risk of damaging'destroying something when I do it. Does anyone know of a cost-effective solution to my problem? Cheers!

Re: Programming in of DS5 adaptive headlights
The headlight does not need coding! But there is a headlamp ECU that controls both headlamps and if replacing the headlamp, it will need adjusting for the beam pattern.

Thank you very much! Can that be achieved with Lexia?

No - it is done using a regloscope - the dealer has the correct equipment to align these once the headlamp is fitted.
