Engine cover rubber mounts

Unread post by Estate87 »

Evening all

As the title suggests I'm after some engine cover rubber mounts for a 2.0 HDi C5.

Does anyone have any going spare? Or does anyone know the best place to get them from? I only need two to be honest.

Cheers

George

Would a 2009 engine have those type of mounts?

Yeah mine have the rubber bung type fitment that you push onto a metal rod. Thanks for the info though.

I think they are replacements. You put in the whole unit in place of the older style, the compatibility list does include 2009 2.0 HDi Estate! :)

Unfortunately I don't think they'll work. The picture of the engine cover that they fit is completely different to mine.

The part number you want is 013793, but they seem to be ridiculously overpriced for a lump of rubber.

If you've got a tame Citroen or Peugeot dealer near you it might be worth seeing what they sell them for - but it'd probably be £10 each

I think that is the cover from the Xsara but I have a C5 HDI too and I know the ones you mean. Unfortunately I scrapped one last week which had all the mountings so you could contact M Hunt scrapyard in Hemel Hempstead, ask for Martin and see if he still has them his number is 0-1-4-4-2 two three nine three three five Oh. Good luck :-D

Top man. I know Hunt's. I'm from Hemel originally.

I got mine from the Citroen dealer, genuine parts for not much money, I think under £6.00 for two.
