I have a 2002 berlingo multispace forte 1.9d. Had an issue where the drivers window wouldn't go up or down properly. I have solved that by changing the green control box on the drivers side, now works fine. However, since I have had the car the passenger window did not work at all.
I found that when sorting the drivers side and changing the switches that it had been unplugged. When plugged in no windows work. If I unplug it the driver side works fine. Is there a regular short somewhere or cross connection that I am missing?

Re: Berlingo Passenger Electric Window
It's possible that the control unit was replaced with the wrong type and that is causing the issues. These have to be the correct units.
The Driver's door control pad also affects and controls the passenger side. Maybe the passenger window regulator failed and the previous owner wasn't fussed about fixing it so may have disconnected the plug to prevent accidentally operating the motor on the passenger side?

Cheers, the regulator failing sounds feasible. Tempted to see if I can find a manual winder setup to replace it all.

They are almost identical assemblies but do have some differences in the window lift assemblies.

The thing is still playing up. Drivers window doesn't always respond. If I press down it goes down then up and stops. When it does nothing I can hear the relay click.
Thoughts? Also is it worth hunting down a manual set up and changing it all over to manual?

If the battery has been off it may be the anti pinch system if you have this.
With engine running, keep nudging the window up bit by bit by pressing the up button in small stages until it fully closes, then hold the button there for a few seconds.
