Hoping for some help,
Xsara battery is so flat yhat it won't lock (central locking).
Engine doesn't work currently - jump start impossible.
Parked somewhere far away from electrical socket.
I have to remove the battery - charge it and put it back in.
I'm asking for help with the correct way to do this (so I don't damage any of the electrical components as they are all in great condition).
What is the procedure (once the seat has been tipped forward) to:
A) remove battery
B) put it back in
So as not to damage anything.

Re: Xsara - Battery
Just be aware that later model picasso’s done away with the quick release seat fixings shown in the above guide. They changed to Torx 30 or 40 bolts. If it is the later type (i think the change was around 2006) there should be a Torx key wrench supplied with the car clipped to the underside of the lid of one of the storage components in the rear footwells.

Yes, this is a 2007 and my Sister's old one was a 2006 which didn't have any of those seat fixings either, so probably not in this case too.

Re: Xsara - Battery
I also would like to know if there is some sort of waiting period or anything (seem to remember something about having to wait 2 mins or something to do with bsi).
Whilst I may be breaking the car - i want to follow the correct procedures so i don't damage any of the electronic components or lock myself out of the radio (as an example).
Other than tilting the seat forward snd removing the bracket - what am I missing?
