Hello all,
I've recently posted in Wanted for an offside suspension leg.
The S1 failed the MOT and was classed as too dangerous to drive. I'll get a video of the nearside wishbone bush wear when I am able...
The offside suspension exhibits a leak on the offside (ie not engine side) of the bottom of the gaiter. Going up to have a look at it today.
When the car was jacked up on the ramp, the MOT guy levered up the underside of the wheel and there is absolutely no resistance other than gravity it appears. I asked if that was normal. The other side was as stiff as.
So I plan to go up and swap over the front spheres to see if that rules out the sphere.
Are there any other tests I can do whilst there?
Also, are S2 'struts' identical to S2 as fatherjack may have a pair?
Thanks in advance.
