Hello,
I started my car as usual today, other than it being snowy nothing unusual.
After a few seconds my car showed a red temperature warning along with the text engine temperature fault with the stop warning.
I checked with an infrared thermometer and car is not overheating. The car sounds fine and seems normal.
I looked under the bonnet and saw that my coolant temperature sensor (I think ???) had no wire going into it . I looked everywhere but could not locate it.
I have attached a pic. It's the green/sky blue connector that has no wire in it . Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance

The thing thats not plugged in is the temp sensor. The connector cant be far away.
