Right hand rear stoplight wire colour?

Hello,
Been busy wiring a towbar in to my 2005 Picasso 1.6hdi. Haynes suggests there is a yellow wire for the right hand rear stop light however there are six wires to the right rear light, none of which are plain yellow? I have from the top, red,white,blue (what looks like beige?), mauve and finally green/yellow but no plain yellow. Is Haynes incorrect and can anyone advise what colour the stop wire is please?

It is not unknown for Citroen to be inconsistent with colour formats (so when Haynes wrote their book they would have been right for THAT Citroen, but not for one from a different factory). However, they do NUMBER the wires consistently, so if you check each wire there should be a code written on them at regular intervals.

Thanks for that (it does say “typical wiring at the top of the page”) - thought I was going mad, guess I can alway check with a meter as a last resort.

The rear brake light wiring is in Pin 4 either side. Don't pay much attention to the colours. Look on the connectors and they are numbered - although you may need an electron microscope and a lighthouse to see them.
