C5 X7 Tourer Tailgate Issue

Hi the rear door on my Citroen C5 estate 2012 won't open when I operate the remote all the other doors open but the rear door tailgate nothing don't know how to remove the door card I unscrewed 4 screw's from the plastic trim bottom of the back door inside how I haven't a clue what to do now can you please help not open the boot is driving me crazy

This thread is fo an older C5 - completely different model. Are you talking about the tailgate or a rear passenger door? Once I know I will move this into a new thread.

Can you provide some clearer detail of the issues so that others with a Tourer can chip in?

So when you unlock the car from the fob, all the doors are unlocked, but the tailgate remains locked?
Just to confirm, unlock the car using the fob, then lock the car with the KEY only, then unlock with the KEY and see if the tailgate remains locked.

If it does there is likely to be a supply problem - usually in the wiring loom above the tailgate to the rear left.

In order to open the tailgate, you'll need to follow this:

Fold back the rear seats to gain access to the lock from inside the boot.

Insert a small screwdriver into hole (A) of the lock to unlock the tailgate.
Push the white part, located inside the lock, to the left to unlock the boot.
