Webasto heater fuse ?

I believe that, if the Webasto unit malfunctions, it can usually be reset by disconnecting the power supply to it for a few (10 ?) seconds.

Unfortunately, according to the handbook, I can’t see any fuse for the unit. Does anyone know an easy way to disconnect the power to the unit ? I guess I could simply disconnect the block connector by the Webasto but, with current temperatures, I don’t really fancy grovelling under the car - is there any more comfortable option ?

why not just disconnect the main battery ? it will do the same job.

Yeah, thanks for the suggestion. I’d thought of that but I didn’t want the possible faff of resetting windows / doors or anything else.

It's really not a faff, all you need to do is reset the clock, put each window all the way down then up again, switch the ignition on with each remote & press the lock button.

Thanks for that - in 165,000 miles I have never once had to reset anything (oh, apart from driver’s window once or twice) so I wasn’t sure what I might be letting myself in for

However, luckily, I was able to clear a fault code with a cheapish reader I’ve got and all is now working ok.
