There is no seal as such, the glass is bonded to the tailgate in the same way as the front screen is bonded to the body...

Why do you ask, is it clearly leaking?

Be aware the Xantia rear screens are not fully sealed and there is a 'gutter' just below the glass to carry water away, the gutter discharges on the sides of the tailgate and you can often see moss growing at this point...

Water can also get in via a poor seal on the wiper spindle, always worth checking...

There will be a universal rubber , any window company could re seal it for you if needed. But check what citrojim said first !

Thanks. It doesn't leak, that rubber falls out and is worn out.

That rubber is just trim but almost impossible to satisfactorily replace in my experience... It often crinkles in the cold and reverts to normal shape when it's warmer...

I once tried to rescue the rubber from a scrap tailgate and failed miserably and ended up just living with it..

Maybe a new one could be made by moulding some black RTV sealant...
