C5 X7 Cant display satnav map

I can enter all the info for directions but when I have entered the map display details and click on 'OK' the screen returns to the general display. I hope its something I'm doing wrong. When I first had the car the map was displayed all the time and I couldn't get rid of it, can't remember how I did but I can't get it back now. Have to take my 'Tom Tom' with me.

hi Peter, try the button that looks like a page of writing, if you have similar C5 to me, (exclusive 2010)

if you haven't, apologies, that wont have helped

The button on the end of the wiper stalk cycles the display between the map & music menus.

Thanks John and Wheeler. I did see some mention of the button on the stalk I will give it a go. I am more used to cars with a speedo, clock and maybe an ammeter and oil pressure gauge. These modern things are far to complicated for me.
