2011 C3 Picasso oddities..

Hi All,

Having some “fun” with the C3 Pic.

1. The keyfob eats batteries. They last a couple of weeks at most. Works fine when working.

2. The boot pops open quite often when opening either front door, which is bloody annoying.

Do the venerable people of this forum have any ideas what might be causing such behaviour?

I would check the boot switch for any signs of water ingress. In the past the tailgate glass of both of the C5s I have owned would randomly pop open when I opened/closed a normal door. On the first one (when I replaced the relevant switch) I opened up the old switch and found the copper wires were blackened through water damage. Changing the switch resolved the issue for both of the C5s.
