ZX Volcane to Berlingo Brake Upgrade.

Unread post by VLL »

I've read that Berlingo brakes can be fitted to the ZX, but was wondering what was involved.
Obviously the larger discs would be needed but do the Berlingo's have different calipers or is it just the caliper carriers that are different?
Any help with this would be appreciated.

You need the complete berlingo Girling Calipers, plus securing bolts, discs, and pads from the Berlingo. Its a straightforward swop. You may have to use Berlingo brake hoses as well (same as ZX 16v ones anyway) but its not essential.

Thanks for the info, will start ringing round some breakers at the end of the week for calipers.
Can get ATE PowerDiscs and Greenstuff pads for the Berlingo calipers so add in a set of Goodridge braided hoses and it should improve the stopping power loads.
Cheers.
