Crankcase breather location. Clio Mk3 2009 (blue smoke)

Post by Ali_pudsey »

Can anyone advise on the location of the crankcase breather valve (PCV) on a MK3 Clio 1.5 dci??

I've had a new rocker cover gasket fitted, new camshaft seal too, with timing belt and water pump. Car is now throwing out shed loads of blue smoke??? There's even oil in the exhaust. Put finger in the exhaust and finger was covered in oil??

Car went in cos it has a small dripping oil leak near timing belt pulley. They changed valve cover gasket, cam shaft oil seal ,belt and water pump and now it's blue fumes??

I suspect they've not done something correct??
Or split oil into engine?? I've no idea but it wasn't smoking like this when it went in for repair. I want to change the breather valve(pcv?) In case it's blocked or sticking, to eliminate that.

Any help is appreciated.
TIA
