1.5 dci 2009 Clio mk3.
Parked car up on Friday night.
Come Monday morning, started ok, despite a few bleeps and 'Brake fault ' message in dash. Had to turn car off to pop back inside. Less than a minute later, come back and all dash lights come on, no clicks, no turning over. Just the BRAKE FAULT MESSAGE and it won't do anything??
Brake fluid level is ok.
Key in ignition, turn headlights on via switch but I see no headlamps on??
Front wipers don't work but rear does.
Thought it may be battery but has it on jump leads, still same.
Charged it up on trickle charger ,4 hrs, still same.def shows 12.5 v when meter on it..

Dash has ABS light, and EML and the BRAKE FAULT message??

Checked all fuses, wiggled and pulled out/reseated relays.. still same.

Had mate plug in Diags and all he could retrieve was (DF025 Preheating unit diagnostic connection-c: open circuit)

Can't see that being related ???

Any ideas??

FIXED- UPDATE ******

checked all fuse boxes for blown fuse and all relays for loose connection/corrosion, etc
Considering the car was parked for two days, working fine before i parked it up, I could nnt see a water ingress issue being the concern.
Turns out it was a corroded FUSE LINK (one of 4) that are fixed to the +positive battery terminal in a red plastic housing.
Made a temp solder joint across the corroded bit and PRESTO !!! no more "Braking fault" and it turns over AND IT STARTS !!!

Just ordered a replacement Battery Terminal Fuse Link part ...
