Citroen C5 x7 ride height

Post by krazyjagster »

Hi everyone, I've recently replaced the front shock absorbers on my C5 x7, they are the Hydroactives ones.

I feel like the front is now sitting a tad bit higher than usual, wondering if it needs some sort of adjustment for the ride height or it's normal like that?

Thanks everyone!

Welcome to the forum.
You will probably get more accurate advice if you post the VIN of your car so that we can check the original specification, especially as it could be a non-European market version.

Find the clamp on the anti roll bar for the height corrector linkage.
Slacken the bolt off slightly and tap the clamp round the bar a fraction until it the ride height looks about right.
Best to do this on a four poster ramp though to avoid the risk of squashing yourself under the car.
