A permanent live is not recommended - as if you forget to manually switch the cameras off, you risk flattening the battery (ask me how I know this).

I set my cameras up with an ignition switched fuse using a piggy back fuse kit from Nextbase and leave the camera switched on - and then everytime the engine is started or switched off the camera does the same.

The 12V accessories socket is not good anyway if you want permanent live, because it is controlled via the BSI to switch off after a time. I can't help you with this years model as the fuse diagrams are not the same to the ones available, so it might be a bit of trial and error.

So the Red goes to permanent Live, the Black to Negative and the Yellow (optional) to a switched ignition that I mentioned in my post.

So it will run from battery with engine running and when the engine is switched off it will switch to a monitored state and disconnect once your battery voltage drops to the preset limit that you can configure.

So you'll need to find a permanent live and a switched live.

So the permanent live should be easy enough as most equipment only works with the engine running for the Red so pick a fuse for equipment that runs with the engine running. AS for the yellow - a lot of the equipment is BSI controlled and timed - so you'll need to do a trial and error with some fuses to see what happens after a minute of power - if it stays on for longer than a minute you should be ok.
