Can someone explain to me what these letters stand for. In the field of car inspection.

DAM is the older term for RPO and they are essentially the vehicle Build Date Code. It is important as it can determine the correct part number used up to, or from, a particular date on which the vehicle was built. The DAM or RPO is the date it was built at the factory.
PSA is the abbreviated name for Peugeot Société Anonyme. Groupe PSA comprises the following brands:

These numbers are usually contained on the tyre pressure label on the door pillar and are usually 5 digits.
