Hello from sunny Eastbourne

Hi. I purchased a 2000 Xantia hdi 110 last week on a certain auction site. I was on here previously some years ago with a different user name,but have lost the details so started again. We previously owned a Synergie which we sold to a late member here,Malcolm (citronut?). Have also had a BX gti 8 valve and two 'St. Tropez' BX's.
The Xantia has the leather seats and alloys from an 'Exclusive' fitted apparently which are very comfortable,and is painted Balmoral Blue. She runs fine. Has a cracked windscreen which I shall replace on the insurance soon. The first few days saw some spectacular driving due to me having size 14 feet hence the ability to either brake and accelerate at the same time and also dip the clutch and brake with the left foot at the same time!.
There are a couple of electrical issues which need sorting which I shall get a electrical specialist to look at soon. I shall post these issues on the appropriate forum soon. Once I have worked out how to post pictures I shall post a couple of them too.

To post up pictures you need to first click on the "Full Editor & Preview" button. Then click on the "Attachments" tab, followed by the "Add files button".

Citronut was a member for quite a while, but he died back in 2015.

Hi, I shall look out for a blue Xantia as I live just up the road in Little Common. I no longer have any interesting French cars, my wife has a horrible gold Moodus though!

So if someone in a gold Moodus or black Volvo C30 toots at you, it'll be me!

I think the Synergie was owned by Malcolm's daughter (citronut junior) and got replaced by the Pug equivalent a year or two ago.
