Hello.
I've noticed that my 2014 C4GP has problem with drivers window regulator. I know that O am not first with this issue. Sometimes it works as normal. Sometimes when pressed down the window goes up. And sometimes nothing happens at all, after few attempts to open (I can hear that window want to go up when asked tongondown) the switch or motor goes silent. Does anyone know where to start digging?
Thank you.

Re: C4 GP drivers window
Have you lubricated the window channel with silicon oil spray? If these become overly tight it can stop the window operation and reverse it the other way (as in anti pinch auto reverse) mode.
Spray the window channels with lots of silicon spray using the straw and work the windows up and down (using the switch in manual step by step mode) to see if this will loosen them.
Also the driver's door control pad can be faulty if water / rain has gotten inside. Might be worth taking this off and cleaning the inside up with some electrical contact cleaner.

Thanks for answer and information. I was thinking about silicone spray. Maybe you know how to remove panel with switches? I understand there must be some clips. Just don't want to break any.

Re: C4 GP drivers window
Just use a flat blunt trim removal tool. The clips are shown at 'C' as shown here. Just insert the tool at the positions and gently push the clips inwards and work your way round and lifting gently as you release the clip. Be careful of the connectors on the underneath.

Re: C4 GP drivers window
Thank you. At last I've found time to check this. After some amount of WD40 things improoved. Will see after few days if the issue gone or not.
I have another question for you (because you always answer any question):
is it possible to tell from VIN if car has dual mass flywheel? I am thinking to go ahead with clutch replacement and one garage said that my car has DM flywheel, and another garage said that it is normal flywheel. I hope you understand what I am asking.

Re: C4 GP drivers window
Ok, so...
1) I would not use WD40! That stuff does not go well with plastics and can cause a reaction. Use silicon oil spray. This is much more plastic friendly (and cheaper).
2) Yes, you do have a Dual Mass Flywheel on your C4GP.
