Just came across this forum. Have been a Citroen owner of cars and vans for the past 30 or so and never had any major problems with them, however at the moment I am having an intermittent problem when I try and select reverse gear. It sometimes will not go into reverse. If I try it might work after about 10 attempts. Sometines it works first time. There is no tearing of gears or any sound from the gear box. All other gears are fine. I did replace the selection cables which I purchased from Citroen. I also changed the gearbox oil. Am I looking at removing the gearbox to see what's going on.
Any Ideas welcome.
