HI
I went to halford the otherday to have a free air con check and they put abit of the aircon gas in as it was completly empty. They said there must be a leak as the gas went straight away. I have checked the pipes to any leaks but i cannot find any visable holes etc.
Any ideas on were to look or do?
Thanks

It's normally the condenser rad in front of the normal rad. Ideally you need to get some UV dye injected in then with a uv lamp and specs you should see the trace.
They should have vacuumed the system first, if the leak is large enough it won't empty.

I do not go to Kwik Fit for anything these days except the AirCon regass since my local indie A/C guy retired.
Kwik Fit do a no charge ( I think ? ) if they cannot get it working correctly ( regass ).
They will Vacuum the system as Pete says above and pressure test and if memory serves me correct they will put a dye into the system to identify leaks, worth a try....

It could also be one of the flexi pipes to the compressor as these were known to fail early on, but as Moizeau says - the condenser is most likely.
