307 auto drive problem

Hi all, could anyone tell me why a Peugeot 307 automatic AL4 box would loose drive when hot? will drive ok when cool.
2004 with 80.000 on the clock.

I would check oil level. You could change the oil out a few times to see if it made any difference. If no difference it could be box overhaul time with new valves. Also check for air lock on your cooling system. The auto box needs the engine cooling system to function fully, as it uses it to cool auto box.

Thanks lexi, I had the oil change in mind, but never thought about the gearbox cooling system. thanks for the info.
