Do you mean the Driver's side electric Windows / Mirror Door Control item (26)?

If yes, part number: 6554YH, priced today at Citroen For £219.91 inc VAT.

Item 25 is for the passenger side - that just has the single window switch.

Looks as if they are available on EBay at a more reasonable price https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/1109414973 That price from Citroen is taking the P>>eugeot

Just make sure you get the correct part number, as these may look the same but are not all the same.

I generally only provide the official prices in case members want an original or for comparison purposes but of course each can then choose to find one on the aftermarket so armed.

I'm really not sure how to box with this one. Any chance of a wiring diagram- I'd like to get a clue as to whether this switch assy. is just that- or if it is full of french electronics.

What I have got is that the drivers window will occasionally not shut using the door switch, but it will always close using the remote key fob. And that's not worth 200 sobs!
But I am tempted to explore cannibalising one of these ebay replacement inserts- as seen in Oldpug's link.

There's no user serviceable parts inside - all electronics - but what you can do is carefully take it out and take carefully take the casing off. Then inside you can use some electrical contact cleaner to clean up the board. What happens with these is that rain gets into the units and can cause some contact problems. So a good spray of electrical contact cleaner (not WD40!) can sometimes clean the contacts of the switches up. I've seen variable results with this - some will see an instant fix and others it may work for a while and they revert back. A further clean may then resolve it again.

You don't need a new one necessarily - just get a second hand unit.

I've given you the PSA part number. When you take your unit off, have a look on the side for the long international part number beginning '96********' as per my picture below. You can then source a used part using this 96 number. You just need a flat blunt plastic trim removal tool and carefully lever the plastic clips in as you lift the unit up from the housing.

If yours matches the one on picture above, then here's the link for a used one at £39:

Just an update- touch wood! Carefully took it all apart and cleaned everything with electrical contact cleaner. Fault seems to have gone- thanks.
