Hi all,
Has any got a list of which fuse is what in the engine bay fuse box.
I need to isolate the hydraulic pump of the power steering to avoid it running without oil while I repair the leak I have.
Cheers
Bela

You should really disconnect the battery for this operation, but F7 in the Engine Fuse Box is for the electro-hydraulic power steering.

Cheers Marc , it's more for when the pump runs dry due the leak so I can carry on driving to my garage.
I'm hoping it's the sealing ring in the high presure side of the rack.

Oh dear, this sounds like the notorious steering rack issue has reared its head. Are you sure it's not leaking from the pinion? That's were most of us have had issues. I'm on rack number 3.

I cleaned the area and the droplets came from the two pipes, got the high presure one out but the low presure is prety stuck. So im gona try to replace the rubber ring.
I guess the removal of the rack can only be done from underneath and I don't have a ramp, so let's hope it is not the pinion... which I guess is the top part

To check the top of the steering pinion, in the driver's footwell there is a large rubber cover over the steering column as it goes through to the rack, move the rubber and with a torch check the top of your rack for a leak or seepage hopefully it's dry.
There several of us on our 3rd racks and plenty of info in this section. Worth a look.

Well, I changed the rubber ring on the high presure pipe... still leaking. I doubt the low presure pipe is leaking as it's all corroded into the port.
Maybe the rubber ring was not exact.
The pinion is ok.
Where are the other post regarding this, I'm not sure what to do next, I'm reluctant to replace the whole hose when it's leaking on the connection.
