Having just joined the Forum and posted in Introduction, I should really familiarise myself with Posting and Acknowledgements etiquette.
So can you please advise what is the difference between the 'heart' symbols, and when to use, as I don't want to inadvertently offend. Any other tips appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Nigel,
The heart symbol is simply an easy way for you to acknowledge what you found to be a good post, it can be because you are thankful for an answer to a question, or you found a post interesting or amusing. It is simply an "I like that" vote which lets posters know that someone appreciates the post. There are no real rules about it and lots of members don't bother with it so it is very much your own choice. There are some guidelines on posting in the forum welcome page similar to most forums and basically its about mutual respect for all members and certain topics are prohibited like politics and racism etc. Most of all enjoy it. Cheers

One other thing that I took a while to get to grips with when I joined, is using the 'subscribe' button at the top of each topic or forum. When you find a thread or a complete forum which you are interested in just click the subscribe button at the top of the post in order to be notified when new posts appear in that thread or forum according to what you click!!
