Hi,
Currently car is in body shop having front panels resprayed. However was expecting it back on Friday and sprayer has said the colours don't match right so he's having to do it again and try to match the colour better.
So I've looked into paint codes seems I have KPSD as per the label on car. However when I put a search on internet there is a KPS and a KPS 5S ? Both Blue Abysse. What's the difference and which one is correct? I wonder if he chosen the wrong one.

Thanks Marc. I read somewhere else on the internet that the 4th letter ‘D’ is for pearl, is that not correct? What is the forth letter for? I.E KPSD

Re: C5 Colour code
I can't comment on third party codes as they may add on their own codes. Sometimes the manufacturer will vary or alter the code from year to year or model to model
KPS is the official code and it is a Metallic from your VIN.
The first 3 letters are the Citroen code for paint.
Take a look here as an example of this manufacturer (but bear in mind the colour swab shown in indicative only). You can see there is KPS and 5S, so if your were ordering from these, important to use only KPS.
Even though the names are the same, the codes are different.
