At last, something other than hammering Diesel cars for a change. Who knows though - if this is another mamby pamby Euro thing by then it may not apply in the UK.....

It got a bit of an airing back in March.

What is E10 fuel and how will it affect you?

As of 2011, all new cars sold in the UK must be E10 compatible.

Some engines can barely cope with "ordinary" petrol and from the RAC take on it...
Vauxhall says “E10 fuel can be used in all petrol-engine Vauxhall vehicles except models with the 2.2-litre direct-injection petrol engine (code Z22YH) used in Vectra, Signum and Zafira.”
I have read/ and know of long sagas of unsolvable misfires, and high pressure fuel pump problems with those vehicles.

Bugger, that applies to us as well now since we got the MGB.
